I thought Easter was a pagan thing? Named after the firtility goddess Ishtar.
Baby Chicks = Sign of birth
Rabbit = a symbol of sex
Chocolate eggs = aphrodisiac/pregnancy
But hey, every man can celebrate Christ whenever they wish. The laws were nailed.

Not everyone. I see this (the resurrection) as the feast of first fruits. Passover, Unleavened bread, First fruits. The Spring feasts. Very Hebraic.
As to the pictures DudeV posted I see, the slain Passover Lamb, the blood on the lentil and doorposts, the 4 cups along with the matzo (unleavened bread) and the haggadah. As a Messianic believer I see Yeshua risen on the day of first fruits.
Soooooo, not everyone relates this to easter (ishtar).
