Please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this an American piece of legislation and not an agreement signed between the US and Israel? Where is Israel's agreement/covenant displayed in this bill? I didn't see any representatives from Israel present during the signing.

I agree that signing a bill like this on Tisha B'Av is significant - especially spiritually speaking - but I don't think this is the agreement mentioned of in Daniel as the video implies as a possibility. However, I'm open for correction and any angles to this that I'm not seeing...

I think you are correct, MichaelnAZ. It is not a treaty, it is legislation. I wonder if it supports (strengthens) a previous treaty/agreement that was already agreed to?

This is NOT the covenant with death spoken of by Daniel the prophet. There is NO time period stated in the document H.R. 4133 and the only dated section reads as thus:

Lastly, the bill would extend the authority under Chapter 5 of title I of the Emergency Wartime Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2003 (P.L. 108–11), as amended, to provide loan guarantees to Israel through September 30, 2015.

2015 - 2003 = 11 and that year time-span won't cut it. This ain't it!

There has only been ONE covenant that matches up with a 7 year time-span. That was signed in 1993 on the 13th of September between Rabin and Arafat on the white house lawn, Bill Clinton presiding. Seven years later on September 28, 2000 Ehud Barak stood on the Temple Mount and read Ezekiel 38-39 and that act immediately started the second intifada and the treaty was annulled. Seven years!!!! The only one. On the signing of this treaty the religious Jews and many other Jews of Israel were lamenting loudly that, "we have just signed a covenant with death." That term sound familiar? It should.

Maybe it is nothing, but notice the numerology

Dan 9:27 "27 And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week..."

If such a covenant were to be confirmed by an American entity then numerology could be applied to the English text of Daniel

I still don't know if this is going to amount to anything but it deserves following and remembering this date as future events unfold.

I see the Dan. 9 ; 27 as referring to Christ Jesus . So I do not see this as an "event " .

I think the thing people are missing is that the AC is NOT AMERICAN. Now i know that people say obama isn't american either....but the AC will not rise out of america. There are a lot of misconceptions about the AC. Personally, i think he will be an arab-jew. None of this even matters because Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38 and 39 have NOT HAPPENED YET. Still 2 wars before the trib can start. No reason to look for something until it is possible.
